Tatjana Stopar Pintarič is the President of the Slovene Society of Obstetric Anaesthesia and the Head of the Obstetric Anaesthesia Division at the Obstetric Hospital Ljubljana, which handles approximately 5,000 deliveries annually. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. Her current scientific interest is in obstetric anaesthesia, with a focus on the effect of labour analgesia on labour and delivery outcomes, and the use of remifentanil for patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) in labour. Her primary clinical interest is promoting the use of regional anaesthesia in obstetrics across Slovenia.
