Dr Jo Tomlinson is a Lecturer at the School of Anatomy, University of Bristol. Her research focuses on the biomechanics of the tissues of the lower limb using methods from life sciences and neuroscience to determine the impact on human kinematics. Dr Tomlinson has published her research in numerous impactful journals, presented at international conferences, won grants and awards for her research and teaching work, such as from the Maurice Phyllis Paykel Trust. Alongside her research, Dr Tomlinson leads anatomy teaching for science and foundation to medicine students, is an author for the book 'Anatomy: Regional, Surgical and Applied' and supports the thriving anatomy community in her role as President of the Early Career Anatomists.
