Senior Consultant in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care with over 25 years of practice, research scholarship in anesthesia and intensive care under the academic program DAAD, Germany, and obtaining the title of Dr. med. of RWTH Aachen. PhD in medical sciences was conferred by UMF “Carol Davila”, Bucharest, fellowship for eco-guided anesthesia at RKU Ulm, Germany. She was among the first anesthetists to promote the method in Romania, and it was also the subject of her doctoral thesis. Vice-president of the Romanian Association for Regional Anesthesia, ARAR. She is involved in experimental and clinical studies in regional anesthesia, echo-guided anesthesia and pain, and transfusion medicine.
