Vishal UPPAL
Faculty
Dr. Uppal is a Professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and a board member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA Pain Medicine).
In recognition of his exceptional scientific contributions, Dr. Uppal was awarded the prestigious 2024 Presidential Scholar Award by the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters and is the lead author of the recent multi-society guidelines on Post-Dural Puncture Headache.
Dr. Uppal also serves as an associate editor for both the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia and Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine journals. His clinical expertise spans Regional Anesthesia, Acute Pain, Obstetric Anesthesia, and Evidence Synthesis.
